The idea of the Overfiftiesfriends.co.uk chat room is to allow members of the site to chat with one another. Unlike the Instant Chat, which is intended for members to chat 1-1, the chat room is for many people to chat at the same time. It is also possible to send private messages to other over 50s in the room however, but please ask before doing so in the public room.

Use the senior chat room as a means to help plan your activities, or just simply to catch up with other members.

We also ask that you refrain from offensive behaviour in the chat room, and for your own security, do not post email addresses, phone numbers or other contact information in the public room.

Please note that advertising banners will appear at the bottom of the chat window. This is because we are only able to bring you this over 50s chat program so far. As the site grows, we will implement better chat facilities (and without such glaring ads).
