Description

A chase then ensued as several scout troopers riding 74-Z speeder bikes pursued the troop transport. Two of the bikes crashed into each other and exploded; Karga destroyed a third with the dual laser turret. Dune piloted the Marauder into another speeder bike, slamming it against the cliff face and destroying it. The last scout trooper managed to climb onto the top of the vehicle, holding an explosive, but Karga swung the turret around to face the front and shot the trooper to death at close range. [1] Heavy armour and weaponry dominates the powerful Trexler 906 Armoured Marauder, which appears impressive in LEGO form. The model measures 20cm in length and captures superb shaping, when compared with the original vehicle. Moreover, the exterior seems appropriately rugged, combining light and dark bluish grey elements to tremendous effect. Concept art of the Marauder chase for "Chapter 12: The Siege" of The Mandalorian television series. The Northern Summer 2021 wave of LEGO® Star Wars sets focuses almost entirely on sets based on Television Series: Clone Wars season 7/The Bad Batch and the Mandalorian. Various heads have appeared beneath Stormtrooper helmets since 2020, replacing the Clone Trooper designs which were used previously. Remarkably, two brand new heads are available here and these look magnificent, particularly because the female Stormtrooper seems suitably mean! Matching other troopers, both minifigures are equipped with blaster rifles.

Another hatch appears on the roof, although this example is cosmetic rather than functional. Nevertheless, there is sufficient space to stand a minifigure here when the hatch is open, as though commanding the transport. An important 1x2 plate with side rail is situated inside this hatch, preventing the lid from closing too far. There are four minifgures included with this set: Greef Karga, the Magistrate on Navarro; a new Atillery Stormtrooper and two regular stormtroopers.

More about this manual

The gunner had a rotating chair that they could swing around a whole revolution, allowing the turret to fire in any direction. It fired red laser bolts. [1] The troop transport's other weapons included two laser guns and four laser cannons throughout the troop transport, some of which could be found at the two trapezoidal protrusions near the rear. [1] Overall, the armament of the Marauder was considered to be more powerful than that of the K79-S80 transport. [2] Rotating the external laser cannons also turns the control station underneath, since they are connected using a trans-clear 5x4x2 wall panel. The function is notably simple but ingenious, although this turret cannot rotate all the way around to prevent minifigures becoming trapped inside. However, detaching the stopper from beneath the turret removes any restriction. Each lateral laser cannon should incorporate twin barrels, although the single barrel features excellent texture. The dorsal turret instead includes stud shooters which are integrated neatly and the rear viewports look great, matching those at the front. Once again, the combination of light bluish grey and dark bluish grey pieces is appealing, with trans-light blue engines around them. Overall, I enjoyed this set more than I thought I would. I fround the technique for detailing the side panels to be interesting, and there are so many doors that you can access the entire vehicle to place your figures inside. It is a little smaller, relative to a figure than the ‘real one’, but it is certainly roomy enough. The gun turrets, including the rotating gunners seat all add to the play value.

At LEGO® Con on the weekend, 3 sets from the Mandalorian were officially revealed – The Imperial Armored Marauder, Boba Fett’s Star Ship (the ship formerly known as Slave I) and the Imperial Light Cruiser. All three of these are integral to key moments in the series, and along with 75299 Trouble and Tatooine, as well as the 75314 The Bad Batch Shuttle shows an ongoing commitment to presenting more LEGO® sets from the newer, Disney managed, faces of the franchise.Jens: So, so we know that is loved concept and is, again, a way for us to offer minifigures at a low price, or at a good price.
