Ignore messages asking you to help strangers transfer money! It sounds obvious, but some are taken in by these scams. Sometimes people manage to join our site to use it to try and trick other members. Many of you have pointed out such scammers to us and we appreciate that. 10% of our full membership fee now goes to charity. Full membership of overfiftiesfriends.co.uk costs just £10 for one year. £1 of each fee paid will now go to Macmillan Cancer Support.
