If you come across another variant of these headphones, please let us know in the discussions, and we'll update our review. So, at a certain point, the weight of a headset or pair of headphones begins to make itself known and add undue fatigue. As good as the audio quality is though, the headset offers little to no noise isolation, with lots of background noise creeping in whilst the sound from the headset easily seeps out for others to hear.

Saying this, it's not bad quality, and it looks bound to survive a few drops (or throws for when a game doesn't go your way). In 2022, Logitech reported total sales revenues of well over 5 billion dollars, largely thanks to its gaming sector generating upwards of 1. When I play CS:GO, sounds like footsteps and gunshots aren’t overwhelming, though I sometimes struggled to pick out certain sounds when there was a lot going on.

The two most obvious being a lack of built-in surround-sound and an absence of noise-cancellation for its microphone. While both headphones are comfortable and have very low non-Bluetooth wireless latency, the G535 have a more neutral sound profile and a significantly longer continuous battery life.

Whether you’re playing a few rounds of Rocket League or settling in for an hours-long Elden Ring session, you want your headset to be just as comfortable at hour four as it is at the half-hour mark. Playing through the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection (which is available now on PC), and not only does the soundtrack come across wonderfully, but the dialogue, gunfire, and other sound effects all have enough room to breathe. Compared to other headsets that are excessively heavy and impose too much clamping power, you almost forget you’re wearing it after an hour or two. Weirdly, there's no option to enable Windows Sonic from within Logitech's G Hub software - even though it's mentioned as an option when the headset is first detected. It sounds great, has a very good microphone, a pretty long battery life, and the Logitech G Hub software adds more customization for sound profiles and the microphone.

After landing an audio technician job at a small recording studio as a teenager, my passion for musical engineering and desire to learn about high quality sound reproduction flourished. That said, it is easily one of the most comfortable and lightweight headsets I’ve ever tried, with fantastic battery life and great quality audio. For instance, when listening to music and typing out some work, even with the volume on high, the G535 Lightspeed wasn’t able to block out all typing noise. And there’s no doubt it’s highly durable, which is vital for a gaming headset – if you’re prone to chucking your headset around the room after being forced into a rage-quit or whatever, you can be pretty sure it will take any abuse you throw its way without getting dented or disfigured in any way. Without doubt, it would be a fine headset for keen MMO players (for whom accurate surround-sound isn’t likely to be a priority). While both headphones are comfortable, the G935 are better-built, have a somewhat better overall boom mic performance, and you can use them wired via their 1/8" TRRS audio cable and wirelessly.

Like the Logitech G733 LIGHTSPEED Wireless, they have a ski-band headband design with a reversible fabric strap. This headset is great for games and music alike, and I have had no issues with the audio throughout my time testing the headset. SCS is a chartered benefit corporation, reflecting its commitment to socially and environmentally responsible business practices. This, in combination with a decent amount of adjustability and earcups lined with memory foam, means it scores very highly in terms of comfort. Audio is nicely balanced, although with a degree of low-end punch that’s especially useful in FPS games. The 40mm drivers can deliver a booming sound, but we noticed throughout testing that the overall volume capabilities of Logitech G535 aren't as expansive as most headsets.
